Հայաստանում Եվրոպական միության պատվիրակությունը հրավիրում է մասնակցելու Եվրոպայի օրվան նվիրված տոնակատարությանը` տոնելու ԵՄ-Հայաստան փոխհամագործակցությունը և ծանոթանալու եվրոպական մշակույթի բազմազանությանը:

Օn the occasion of Europe Day, the European Union Delegation to Armeniainvites you to participate in a youth video competition on the theme “My Europe in 120 Seconds”.
The winner will receive an Apple iPad!
Who can participate?
- nationals or residents of Armenia
- both amateurs and professionals in video-making
How to participate
- prepare a short video (up to 2 minutes)
- upload it on YouTube with the title “Europe Day Youth Contest Armenia– [insert your video name or your name]“
- fill in the application form, including the link to the video

What is Europe Day?
On 9 May 1950, Robert Schuman presented his proposal on the creation of an organised Europe, necessary for peaceful relations and development. Today, the 9th of May has become a European symbol (Europe Day) which, along with the flag, the anthem, the motto and the single currency (the euro), identifies the political entity of the European Union. Europe Day is the occasion for activities and festivities that bringEuropecloser to its citizens and neighbours.

Ինչ է Եվրոպայի օրը:
1950թ. մայիսի 9-ին Ռոբերտ Շումանը ներկայացրեց կազմակերպված Եվրոպայի կառուցման իր տեսլականը, որն անհրաժեշտ էր խաղաղ փոխհարաբերությունների և զարգացման համար: Այսօր մայիսի 9-ը վերածվել է Եվրոպայի խորհրդանիշի (Եվրոպայի օր), որը դրոշի, զինանշանի, նշանաբանի և միասնական արժույթի (եվրո) հետ միասին, արտահայտում է Եվրոպական միության քաղաքական ինքնությունը: Եվրոպայի օրը մի շարք միջոցառումների և տոնակատարությունների առիթ է հանդիսանում` նպաստելով Եվրոպայի հասանելիությանը ինչպես իր, այնպես էլ հարևան պետությունների քաղաքացիների համար:
Եվրոպայի օրվա վերաբերյալ հավելյալ տեղեկությունների համար այցելեք Եվրոպական միության պաշտոնական կայքէջը:
